Ross Community Center: New energy in the neighborhood

   Ross Community Center is a community recreation center that was struggling through a transformation into a private non-profit when the board turned to Michael Burns Consulting for help. With the consultant/coaching team’s expertise, the Center embarked on a turnaround program. A new strategic plan, a search for new funding and board development bolstered work that included a complete financial scan and policy reforms, hiring a new executive director and staff, redesigning the program and keeping its inadequate old building functioning until a new one can be funded and built, all to the benefit of the children and families it serves
